Skywatcher SynScan GoTo Handcontroller

The SynScan GoTo hand control box is used to control Skywatcher telescopes. The internal database provides access to more than 42,000 objects, allowing even inexperienced astronomers to explore the stars. The large keys and the two-line display make operation easy, even at night or when wearing gloves. The control system helps you align on the North Pole and the exact coordinates of your position can be provided by an optional GPS module and sent directly to the hand box, making aligning the mount even more straightforward. The control software can be updated via the Internet, keeping you always up to date.

You can use the hand box to upgrade Skywatcher mounts to SynTrek, turning your mount into a full-fledged GoTo system. Please bear in mind that the necessary connection cables are not included, and must be purchased separately (see ‘Recommended Accessories’). The control can be used as a spare part, or for bringing older Skywatcher GoTo mounts up to date.
