This drive, designed for the EQ-5 and NEQ-5 mounts, is essential for long-exposure astrophotography. It can accurately compensate for the Earth’s rotation and so provide precise tracking. Speeds of 2X, 4X and 8X can be selected with the hand controller. The motors run on ‘D’ type batteries. Motors for both axes, cable, connectors, hand controller and a battery bag are all included.

This motor kit is compatible with the similar MON2 (Bresser), GP (Vixen) and Astro5 (GSO) mounts.
