This set lets you change your mount’s transmission from gear to toothed belt. The belt drive improves tracking and eliminates backlash. After conversion, your mount will not only run much more precisely, but also noticeably quieter.

The ratio of the belt pulleys is identical to the ratio of the original gearing. That means that the SynScan hand controller is not affected by this upgrade – all Synscan functions remain working as previously.
