Bresser Messier EXOS 1/ EQ-4 Mount

Skywatcher is changing the interface on the newest version of the EQ-6 mount. You can find out here which EQMOD cable you require depending on which version of EQ-6 you have. If your mount has a DB9 interface (also known as a serial port, as found on older computers), these are the suitable EQMOD cables:

If you purchased your EQ-6 recently and it has the new interface panel (along with an RJ-45 male connector, similar to the EQ-6-R or the AZ-EQ-6), the cables listed below should fit this new version of the EQ-6. If your mount already has a USB interface on the panel, you do not need an additional cable. Simply identify the COM port using the device manager and set the baud rate to 115200. If you are in doubt, send us a picture of your mount’s interface panel by email.
